When our favorite server/manager got "let go"two years ago we quit going to TGIF. The kids missed it because it is at the Mall.
The last few (at least 3) times we have gone, we have been disappointed. We went on 7-17 with a party of 8, was told we had to wait 30 minutes even though the restaurant was empty. Apparently the servers all had 3 tables already. We told the hostess to put tables together and seat us; which put us in a bad mood right from the start.
The waitress was pretty clueless, didn't keep up with drink refills, etc. The summer menu apparently can't be used with an e-mail coupon we had for a free entree, so talking to the waitress (abigail), she was going to do separate bills. When she brought the separate bills and realized that I was paying them all, she put them together and didn't take my free entree off. She re-did it, and still had the wrong total and gave me the gift card back with $3 on it instead of $15.
The manager came over with a new bill and stated we had to pay $21 for our $10 summer special because she had used the coupon. In the end we got a gift card change of $14, which was correct but it took over 30 minutes.
Still have a few gift cards to use up then probably won't be going back.
Reviewer is in unhappy mood. Please immediately contact the author of this review to discuss poor customer service of tgi fridays customer care. TGI Fridays needs to read this review and look into the issue (if any) according to poster's claims.
